
Our Classes
Classes available:
All our classes are for a mixed age group (0-5) and run for 30 minutes.
What to expect in a class:
A range of age-appropriate songs and rhymes
Tickles, knee bounces, fingerplays, counting songs, circle games, and more!
Instrument playing, parachute games and movement to music.
As we run mixed age classes, our teachers are experts at tailoring the activities to suit the ages
and abilities of the children in each class. We currently run classes across two locations:
Mondays at Hello Music Studios (75 Greville St, Prahran)
Class Teacher: Margaret Arnold (See bio below)
Class Times:
9:30am and 10:15am
Class Fees:
Classes are $20 each and invoiced by the term
Casual/trial classes are available for $25
Tuesdays at D.C. Bricker Social Room (Beech St, Caulfield South)

Meet our Teachers

Founder and Director
Elizabeth is a passionate music educator, conductor and choral performer. She has a decade of music teaching experience both within schools and in the wider community. Elizabeth is currently the Director of Training Choirs at Young Voices of Melbourne, teaches at Caulfield Grammar School, and is the founder of Very Young Voices of Melbourne, Kodály inspired music classes for children aged 0-5.
In 2019, Elizabeth was awarded the Sarolta Kodály Scholarship to study at the Kodály Institute of the Liszt Academy, where she completed an Advanced Diploma. She was awarded the Australian Kodály Certificate (AKC) in 2012 and is an accredited Kodály lecturer. She is an experienced workshop presenter and has taught musicianship and primary pedagogy as part of the AKC. Elizabeth performs regularly as a soprano and is currently a member of Alta Collective.

Teacher (Prahran)
Following tertiary studies in music as a pianist, singer and music educator in pre-school, primary, secondary and tertiary music settings. After some years as Head of Music at Methodist Ladies’ College and the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, Marg enjoyed a long period as Director of Music at Wesley College. Subsequently she was Curriculum Manager for Performing Arts at the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority for five years. She has sung professionally as a soloist and in ensemble with such groups as Victorian Opera, and numerous choral groups and early music ensembles in Melbourne and overseas. Marg is passionate about the importance of music education, and finds working with young children especially rewarding and inspiring.
